I'm a maker and designer who refuses to be limited by what I already know. I think in equal parts brain, hand, and eye, so I welcome any challenge that require me to work both materially and conceptually.
I received my BFA in Jewelry + Metalsmithing at the Rhode Island School of Design in 2019. (So, not that long ago.)
Born to Korean immigrant parents, I grew up shredding, taping, and gluing used printer paper from my father's workplace. My best friend was a series of stuffed turtles named Cindy, each replacing her lost predecessor. There were 3. Currently, I like completing the New Yorker crossword every weekend, drawing poorly rendered dogs, and writing shitty poems in the margins of an old grocery list. In three years or less, I plan to have a shop dog and couch companion named Sadie.
